Inula Britannica Flower is perennial plant distributed in Eastern Asia including Korea, Japan, and China. It belongs to Asteraceae growing in marshes or base of a mountain. Especially in Korea, it thrive in mountain area in Gyeonggi-do Province and Gangwon-do Province. It has been used clinically as a remedy for nausea, hiccup, excessive sputum, vomiting, etc.. This non-toxic Inula Britannica extract reduces oxidative stress in skin by promoting Nrf2 activity(Nrf2 is a key transcription factor of the antioxidant protein gene) so it helps anti-aging and skin tightening.
